Math

Okay so lately all my post consist of the negative aspects of overthinking , but don't get me wrong sometimes it does help. For example it was around the first week of school, my math teacher allowed us to get into groups. He then had us do these sort of brain exercises , reminding us to think first do later. The whole time he kept repeating "think outside the box" and the thing is that's exactly what overthinking is ,just thinking outside the box analyzing every aspect multiple times in a time span. In this case it helped those who really did overthink the problem and didn't just go hands on first. I guess the lesson I'm trying to state here is that sometimes it can be better to just stay thinking, till of course you feel ready to solve the problem.
