Rules should be followed that's true, but what would be the point of life without a few mistakes along the way. To be young is to have fun and make mistakes to learn and look back on. We are rebels at heart we can't always follow the rules, loosen up and have some fun while you still can. Live life fully, passionate, happily, and most important live it your way no matter what the rest of the world has to say. In the end the decisions you make are yours and yours only.
It's simple we have a brain that has thoughts, ideas, pictures, theories and information, all involved in overthinking. Most might say that is 'spectacular!' , but this blog is to point ever aspect of the good and the bad.

Missing Someone
That awful feeling you get when you miss someone so much. You feel that pain in your heart, that knot in your throat. It gets hard to speak and you just have to go for a walk to distract yourself. Its hard not knowing when the last time you will see them is. Not knowing when will be the next time you will reunite. Not knowing how much longer without them by your side. At times it's hard to think about anything else. You just have to have hope that everything will go well, eventually it will happen. You miss them now, but soon enough everything will go back to normal.

Afterlife (Feedback)
I asked around to my fellow peers and as presumed most can relate to overthinking the afterlife, this is what one had to say...
"I overthink about death in it's entirety. I wonder about it's infinite possibilities, and how we know nothing about it virtually. It's honestly terrifying, and I find myself thinking about it late at night, and how not only does it scare me, the unknown also scares me. The fact that I know nothing about it doesn't comfort my beliefs that people really do go to a 'better place'. The notion that there is a heaven and hell is also heavily disclaimed because there is no knowledge of it"

Afterlife
Theories, Theories, Theories, that's all we get, all we really know. When it comes to afterlife lots of people live by it/hope for it. It's kind of like karma and all the myths in the world, nobody seen it, but we believe it. However as little as we know, there's still a million of questions that seem to wonder when thinking of what truths lay in the afterlife. Is it really how people presume with heaven and hell or is it a horrid expand of nothing? Honestly whenever you begin this specific topic you end in a pit of confusion, I guess somethings are better left unknown.

Insomnia (side effect)
Insomnia is the inability to sleep. When I wrote my previous post about dreams I knew that I had to also point this factory out because avoiding does not do anyone justice. Just how your brain can select which dreams to show based from your inner most thoughts, your inner most thoughts may also be the reason why you can't get sleep. This need to drown in ones thought leads to a pattern that cause you to lose sleep , as an article said "Pondering over one thing leads to another, past events are visualized, the pain suffered in the past is re-experienced and future similar happenings are re-enacted in the mind as a person lays there on the bed." If this person sounds like you then I won't ask you to take a chill pill, but rather re evaluate life and what needs to be done in need to better ones health, note you are not alone. However the only person who knows you better than anyone else is yourself.
Inconclusive Conclusions
This is my list of the unlikely ideals/conclusions we overthink about :
~If anyone is late, you consider if they might have died, total exaggeration
~If a car or person follows your same direction you believe they're intentionally trying to follow you.
~"we need to talk text" apparently leads to bad news, not always will this be the case.
~People who believe happiness is suppose to stay, emotion is suppose to change.
~The phrase what would your past self say , who you are now does not compare to the person before , humans are constantly changing , nobody remains the same forever.

Dreams
Sometimes you wake up and probably didn't dream anything, which is normal. Other times you wake up mesmerized by the dreams you've had in your head and you lay in your bed, scratch your head and think, why did that feel so real? This all goes hand in hand with the way your brain functions, most likely the things you overthink show up in dreams. Psychologists say everything that you sense comes from external input; the things that you see, smell, and hear. According to several articles it is said dreams don't serve a true purpose, but multiple theories have been made. The theory I find the most interesting and in my opinion, true, states "the dreamer is able to make connections between different thoughts and emotions in a safe environment." Reality makes us subdued to speak our minds or fight our fears. In our dreams we can and although some may be the kinds we don't exactly want, we all have the chance to wake up and realize the phrase your parents say after a nightmare 'it was all a dream".

Budgeting
At some point the loose change in pants or purses won't be enough to satisfy needs and necessities , things like: food, flashy clothes, best technology is costing more and more. Yes I might be a teenager and I don't have to worry over things like budgeting, but I have been thinking a lot lately , if I don't start now I will always see it as a chore. Knowing what you have and where you spend things can help with one of the major overthought problems...Money! Budgeting is a solution to that, people who keep a plan tend to worry and overthink less on matters such as, Do I have enough money to pay my bills?

Signs You Overthink Everything
I was searching videos that can show overthinking rather than explain it and this in my opinion could not have showed it any better. It was funny , relatable and not remotely long like other videos.
Trivia
Do you know the game Trivia Quack? It's actually a game worth downloading. The point of the game is to answer questions within the categories of Art, Entertainment, Sports, Geography and History. You get to challenge your friends and people around the world , each question is timed which makes the wheels of your brain turn faster. During lunch me and my friends love to play the game, but as you know by now I am a nerve wreck when it comes to thinking, however that won't stop me.
My problem always with trivia or fast paced puzzle games is I am not preciously a very fast thinker, so I second guess my self and I doubtfully consider myself intelligent . The question can honestly be the most easiest thing and I would still manage to think they might be tricking me. Which sucks because you would be surprise to know your brain stores a lot of information, as a teacher once told me "You have the information you just need to put the effort to retrieve it", I wonder how much things has this brain of mine stored. Long story short if you're like me then , relax, challenge your brain learn more things and one day we will be able to retrieve it faster than we think.

Musical State of Mind
A brain can store over hundreds of songs and in some ways trigger different feelings connected with it. Think of it this way, you're driving and decide to change the radio, it changes to one of your favorite songs, this can instantly change your mood. One of the reasons why most of us turn to music in a time of need is for those feelings; to be able crank up the music after a long day in order to take you to a different state of mind. The same goes for songs that hold a similar place in your heart , the ones that bring you to an emotional side, the ones that take you back to a place you might never want to revisit. In times it can also make you overthink why that song makes you feel the way it does, what specifically connect you to that song and not others. Scientifically its not known why people connect to music in certain ways, theoretically a sad song is suppose to make you sad , but this might not always be the case.

100 Day illustration of Overthinking
https://www.brainpickings.org/2016/07/14/100-days-of-overthinking-maria-sanoja/
Personally the illustration above was my favorite within the article, take in-count the question "Why can't I let go?" this image of bricks go beyond representing the weight of everything, maybe its the world, society, someone/something or overall her life. Sometimes we prefer to be weighed down because at times the things we believe to hate are the thing that can make us the most happiest, inaddition everyone has their own baggage that seems impossible to let go of.

Brain Strain (side effect)
Remember that episode on Spongebob where his brain was overwhelmed and it caught on fire, that's how brain strain feels. The amount our brains have to deal with is incredible to me, performing numerous task constantly and daily. Overthinking is just another huge package to sort out and deal with, in other words it will increase the mental activity of the brain and cause it to strain. This is why they say don't think about anything if you have a headache or don't think to much or you might get a headache.
Time wasting (side effect)
Overthinking has multiple side effect, one includes time wasting, either you never act or you act to late. In the end it all falls under productivity, but in general if you think to much you expand your time. Once you expand your time you do little to nothing and end up frustrated, yes Rome wasn't built in a day , but productivity sucks if your plan is a discombobulated mess(like the art of overthinking). So think of it this way, excessive thinking is a lengthy activity that threatens your productivity and is a unwanted side effect.
Math
Okay so lately all my post consist of the negative aspects of overthinking , but don't get me wrong sometimes it does help. For example it was around the first week of school, my math teacher allowed us to get into groups. He then had us do these sort of brain exercises , reminding us to think first do later. The whole time he kept repeating "think outside the box" and the thing is that's exactly what overthinking is ,just thinking outside the box analyzing every aspect multiple times in a time span. In this case it helped those who really did overthink the problem and didn't just go hands on first. I guess the lesson I'm trying to state here is that sometimes it can be better to just stay thinking, till of course you feel ready to solve the problem.
Food
That moment when you reach a restaurant with a wide variety of food and you have no idea what to choose from. Okay this is more of a silly topic , but honestly how troublesome is it walking in a restaurant or anywhere in general and going "I want that.. no wait that.. no wait..". This also falls under decision making , but I know particular people who like food a certain way that they overthink the ingredients and end up never buying at all.

Decisions
Should I or should I not ? simple enough right. Something so simple like a yes or no question can strain your brain in ways that in my opinion should be stopped. Here's why I say this, the moment you make the decision it's done no point in dwelling. Why would you overthink especially when you know you can't fix or rearrange the situation. Sometimes you can change the outcome, but anything otherwise is not worth bother. No matter how you feel about an unchangeable decision , you should know at the end of the day your mind was made up. You should feel proud you could make a decision nonetheless cause what's worse then overthinking decisions is being indecisive.
Education (Feedback)
Due to my last post I explained how I've been currently overthinking my education, but I asked a friend to see if he could relate, According to his response I can tell that a problem will eventually require him to overthink what might happen because even if he believe he has everything figured out, the chances always differ in the future. Take a look this was his response...
Me:What do you want out of your education?
Him: Usually it's school then a job, but others sadly would prefer to drop out and maybe get a GED, which eventually leads to mediocre job. For me I'm planning on graduating high school with an AA degree then going to college to study medicine. in high school I will be taking many different AP classes and go into duel enrollment so that I can graduate with an AA degree. After high school I plan on going to college. What College do I plan to go to ? now see I haven't worked my way to that quite yet. When the time comes I will fill out many applications and that's all I can really say.

Education
The road to success or should I say the road to stress. It is now my Junior year and probably the toughest, but it's just the beginning for a better tomorrow, most would say. However the moment I feel like pulling out my hair and screaming at the top of my lungs is when I realize I can't keep overthinking where my tomorrow is going to be. Just a couple of days ago our school had a college fair I went through every booth and saw the different things each school had to offer. I went home just to wreck my brain and ask "where do I want to go?" then my back forth began (yay overthinking). I have no idea what I want to be , where I want to go and what I'm gonna do. I guess in the last few years you acknowledge this idea, This is where I am now , don't get me wrong my grades are top notch, but does it really matter if I don't know what I want. Currently and almost always will I feel like I need to do more more and make more of myself at least educational wise.

Intro
The irony in it all is quite laughable, first let me introduce myself...Not my name, but my issue 'Hi, I'm an enormous over thinker and so are you'. Welcome to my blog, the art of overthinking, let us all agree this is a weird first start. The ironic thing is I over thought even the ideal of this blog, what I should write, will I carry on. Oh to heck I even wanted to write about about all kinds of things; books, music, fashion mostly wanted a mixture of everything, as well as those unknown to me like math. See that my friend is what you call overthinking, I call it being an internal intellectual perfectionist.
